Being far away overseas apparently did not lessen the enthusiasm of Japanese residents who live in Bali to celebrate the summer festival (matsuri).
Bali Japan Club, the Japanese expatriate community in Bali was organizing the 28th Bon Odori Festival at Hongkong Garden Restaurant, Sanur, Bali on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
J Trust Bank also supported the Bon Odori Festival as the main sponsor. The summer festival hosted various activities, such as yo-yo catching, goldfish scooping, ball toss, kids ball toss, shooting gallery, and super ball scooping.
The visitors also enthusiastically danced Bon Odori, the traditional Japanese dance to welcome the summer season and to honor the spirits of one's ancestors.
