PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. (J Trust Bank) agreed to cooperate with Sawayaka Club Co., Ltd. (Sawayaka Club) and The Hiroshima Bank, Ltd. (Hiroshima Bank) in providing loan facilities for education to Indonesian students who want to work in Japan.
Sawayaka Club is a service provider company in the health sector and based in Fukuoka, Japan. Meanwhile, Hiroshima Bank is a local bank based in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The background of this cooperation was the absence of the bank loan, specially to support the Japanese language education for Indonesian students who plan to work in Japan. According to the Japanese Immigration Act, Japanese language proficiency is one of the mandatory requirements for foreigners workers.
J Trust Bank's cooperation with Sawayaka Club and Hiroshima Bank also aimed to open opportunities for Indonesian students to get Japanese languange education as a requirement to work in Japan. In addition, this cooperation also contributed to the development of Indonesia's human resources in Japan.
