As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for May 2026, and in commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, J Trust Bank organized a CSR initiative titled "Qurban and Community Support: Spreading Blessings Through Eid al-Adha 2026." This initiative reflects J Trust Bank's ongoing commitment to social responsibility, community empowerment, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
The CSR activity commenced with the handover of a premium sacrificial cow, weighing approximately 350 kilograms, from J Trust Bank to the Al Azhar Grand Mosque in Kebayoran, Jakarta. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Bank Syariah Indonesia Maslahat Foundation (BSI Maslahat). The handover ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM WIB, and was attended by Mr. Helmi A. Hidayat (Board of Directors of J Trust Bank), representatives from the Al Azhar Grand Mosque, and the Executive Director of BSI Maslahat, Mr. Sukoriyanto Saputro. This event serves as a powerful symbol of collaboration between financial institutions, religious bodies, and social foundations in generating a positive community impact.
The sacrificial meat was subsequently distributed to local residents living around the mosque and to J Trust Bank's support staff (approximately 50 individuals), including office boys, office girls, drivers, receptionists, and outsourced personnel. This initiative ensured that the blessings of Eid al-Adha were shared inclusively, reaching underprivileged communities while showing appreciation for the support staff who play a vital role in daily operations.
This CSR initiative represents not only a social and religious contribution but also forms an integral part of J Trust Bank's alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically: SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
