Jakarta, September 22, 2025 – PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) demonstrated its tangible commitment to environmental conservation by supporting the 2025 World Rhino Day commemoration, organized by the Rhino Foundation of Indonesia (YABI) at Habitat Park, SCBD – Jakarta.
This commemoration, which falls every September 22, is a global movement to raise awareness and inspire concrete action to protect rhino species that are now on the brink of extinction. For Indonesia, this moment holds deep significance as it is the only country that remains a habitat for the Javan Rhino (Rhinoceros sondaicus) and the Sumatran Rhino (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis) – the two rarest rhino species in the world, with each population estimated to be less than 80.
With the theme "Together for Rhinos, Together for Nature," the 2025 World Rhino Day commemoration featured a series of activities at Habitat Park throughout September. The public was invited to engage in creative, educational, and interactive activities, including inspirational sessions on conservation, environment-themed sports programs, and workshops to encourage early awareness of Indonesia's flora and fauna.
J Trust Bank's participation in World Rhino Day holds a special meaning. The bank has a one-horned rhino mascot, Tiara, which serves as a symbol of the company's identity as well as a manifestation of its concern for the conservation of Indonesia's rare wildlife.
J Trust Bank's involvement in this event also serves as an invitation to the public to jointly protect Indonesia's rare animals. Through its collaboration with YABI, J Trust Bank hopes that more parties will be inspired to contribute to sustainability, whether through small everyday actions or tangible support for conservation programs.
