Jakarta, September 28, 2025 – PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by supporting the organization of SPOGOMI Jakarta 2025, an eco-friendly sports competition that combines sport and gomi (the Japanese word for waste). The event took place in the Jakarta Mori Tower Area, Sudirman, and successfully attracted the participation of various companies, communities, and organizations.
This year, 36 teams with a total of 165 participants actively engaged in the competition, which challenged them to collect and sort waste in a designated area. In a spirited and competitive atmosphere, the participants managed to collect a total of 261.3 kilograms of waste. The collected items consisted of plastic bottles, cardboard, glass bottles, cans, and residual waste, all of which were sorted into categories according to SPOGOMI rules.
J Trust Bank's participation in SPOGOMI Jakarta 2025 is part of the company's commitment to supporting sustainable waste management and is in line with the Indonesian government's mission to achieve Net Zero Emission by 2060. Through this activity, J Trust Bank aims to show the wider community that protecting the environment can be done in a way that is fun, collaborative, and has a real impact.
With the support of various parties, including J Trust Bank, SPOGOMI Jakarta 2025 stands as tangible proof that the simple act of collecting and sorting waste can create significant change for environmental sustainability. Through this event, collaboration for a cleaner environment and a greener future is being brought to life.
