Jakarta, November 26, 2025 – PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) in collaboration with the Blood Management Unit of Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital held a blood donation activity entitled "Care for Thalassemia Survivors". Located at the Sahid Sudirman Center Building, Jakarta, this activity was attended by 200 participants consisting of J Trust Bank employees and the general public. The enthusiasm of the participants was seen from the beginning of the activity until the blood donation process was completed.
Blood donation activities are a form of J Trust Bank's commitment to making a real contribution to improving the quality of public health. In addition to providing benefits for donor recipients, this activity also provides health benefits for donors.
In this activity, J Trust Bank pays special attention to thalassemia survivors. Based on data published by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia is a country with a high risk of thalassemia, with an estimated 3,000 babies with thalassemia being born every year. Thalassemia is a blood disorder that requires blood transfusions and regular treatment throughout the patient's life.
On this occasion, the donor participants also received consumption and attractive souvenirs in the form of umbrellas as a form of appreciation for their participation in saving lives through blood donation.
This blood donation program is part of the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of J Trust Bank's Social Pillar, which is consistently held twice a year and has become a positive culture that continues to be maintained in the corporate environment.
