October 14, 2026, Jakarta — Bank J Trust has executed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program "J Trust Hearts for Life: Donate Blood, Save Lives" at Sahid Sudirman Center, Jakarta, aimed at contributing to health and humanity. Under the slogan "A Drop of Blood, A Million Hopes", bank employees and workers in the building participated, making this initiative a tangible step to contribute to society and strengthen solidarity.
The event was held with full support from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and the building management company of Sahid Sudirman Center. Prior to donating blood, a strict initial health screening was conducted by the PMI medical team, including filling out a medical questionnaire as well as measuring hemoglobin (Hb) levels and blood pressure. Using sterile equipment and fully complying with the latest medical guidelines, we ensured that the blood collection process was carried out in a safe environment, both for donors and patients who will receive transfusions.
On the day of the event, in addition to 145 Bank J Trust employees, 15 external parties also participated, bringing the total to 160 people supporting this project. Supported by 10 dedicated medical staff from PMI, we successfully collected a total of 100 blood bags from participants who met medical safety standards. The spirit of caring that started from within the company has grown into a broader community initiative by involving external parties working in the same building, which is a major achievement of this program.
The "J Trust Hearts for Life: Donate Blood, Save Lives" initiative directly aligns with our Bank's commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3 "Good Health and Well-being", Goal 17 "Partnerships for the Goals", as well as promoting GRI 413 (Local Communities). This activity was managed using the Employee Care Budget, aiming not just as a social contribution, but also to deeply instill a corporate culture that upholds care and responsibility towards society.
