Jakarta, October 19, 2024 – In the spirit of welcoming Christmas, J Trust Bank held an activity entitled “A Happy Day with J Trust Bank” with children from the Pondok Kasih Agape Orphanage, Cililitan, North Jakarta. This activity was designed to provide a fun and educational experience, with a series of exciting events.
The event began with a health check for children, namely dental and oral health, blood type checks, and general checks. Next, the children were invited to participate in a fun coloring book activity that provided space for them to express their creativity through pictures and colors.
As part of the education, the children were presented with the Sahabat J Trust animation which introduced six J Trust Bank mascots, consisting of protected Indonesian endemic animals. Through this animation, children not only get entertainment, but also insight into the importance of preserving the environment. The activity continued with a presentation of Christmas songs and dances from the children of the orphanage, which added to the warmth of the atmosphere.
The highlight of this activity was a field trip to KidZania Jakarta. In this place, children get experience playing roles and learning about various professions, an activity that is expected to broaden their horizons and foster their enthusiasm for learning.
In addition to presenting a series of activities, J Trust Bank together with JTrust Consulting Indonesia also donated operational funds of IDR 19,000,000, basic necessities, two rice cookers, educational toys, and Christmas gifts. This donation is expected to ease the operational needs of the orphanage and bring more happiness to the children in preparing for Christmas.
In her remarks, Novy Angela Andow, EVP Treasury Capital Markets & Financial Institution J Trust Bank, said "Seeing the smiles and laughter of the children during the activity increases our enthusiasm not only in running the business but also in implementing corporate social responsibility. This activity is also a valuable moment to strengthen the relationship between us and the community. We want the existence of J Trust Bank to have meaning in community life".
