PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. (J Trust Bank) signed a partnership agreement with PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia in the form of executing scheme.
The signing session was conducted by EVP Business of J Trust Bank Agung Subagiyo and President Director of Akulaku Finance Efrinal Sinaga. The signing ceremony was held at the Akulaku Finance headquarter, Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.
Agung said the financing facility for Akulaku Finance was aiming to diversify the financing product and to widen the financing access for the society, especially in order to keep the economic activities moving in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"In addition, the synergy between banks and digital-based financing startups is a good collaboration to increase financial inclusion in Indonesia," Agung said.
Akulaku Finance Indonesia is a financing and credit service provider that has been registered and supervised by the OJK. Akulaku allows its users to make transactions using the installment method that can be used for payments in the Akulaku application or other e-commerce.
