Notice Updated Provisions on Active, Inactive, and Dormant Account Status

Dear J Trust Bank Customers,

 

In accordance with the Financial Services Authority of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation (POJK) No. 24 of 2025 concerning Account Management at Commercial Banks, there are updates to the provisions governing the management of savings and current accounts which will be effective on 8 May 2026, as detailed below:

 

  1. Classification of Savings and Current Accounts
  2. Active Account is an account that records activity such as deposits, withdrawals, or balance inquiries.
  3. Inactive Account is an account with no deposit, withdrawal, or balance inquiry activity for more than 360 days (12 months).
  4. Dormant Account is an account with no deposit, withdrawal, or balance inquiry activity for more than 1,800 days. An account will be classified as dormant starting from day 1,801.

Transactions generated by the Bank’s system are not categorized as account activities, including: auto-debit, deduction of fees and taxes, administrative fee charges, and interest crediting.

  1. Automatic Closure of Savings and Current Accounts
    1. Savings and current accounts with zero balance for up to 6 (six) months will be automatically closed;
    2. This provision does not apply to accounts listed under point 3 (Exceptions).

 

  1. In the event that your account is classified as an Inactive Account, the reactivation process may be conducted through J Mobile, J Net, J Net Business, or by visiting the nearest J Trust Bank branch. However, if your account is classified as a Dormant Account, reactivation may only be carried out by visiting the nearest J Trust Bank branch, where the Customer’s data updating process will also be performed.
