Cikarang, 29 November 2024 – In order to improve the understanding of financial literacy among young people, especially students, J Trust Bank held a financial education entitled “Achieving Financial Freedom by Managing Needs and Wants” at SMK Mitra Industri MM2100, Cikarang, West Java.
This activity was attended by 24 10th grade accounting students and aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of personal financial management. The material presented includes an introduction of needs and wants, budgeting, and the importance of saving for the future.
Participants were given an understanding of practical steps in preparing a budget, prioritizing expenses, getting to know and utilizing banking products wisely. In addition, through interactive discussions, students are also invited to build healthy financial habits from an early age, so that they are better prepared to face economic challenges in the future.
This activity is part of J Trust Bank’s commitment to support the improvement of financial literacy in Indonesia, especially in the young age group, namely students. As they are prepared to enter the workforce after graduation, vocational school students are expected to be able to manage their personal finances well to achieve financial freedom in the future.
