Jakarta, February 17, 2025 - PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) continues to innovate to provide the best service for customers and the community, one of which is through “Gourmet Choice 2025”, an appreciation and award event for business actors and culinary practitioners in Indonesia.
Also present at the event were Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN, Masahiko Kiya; Special Envoy to ASEAN from Seychelles, Nico Barito; JETRO President Director, Masakazu Takahashi; Minister of Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation, Embassy of Japan, Hajime Ueda; CEO KMK Group, CK Song; Chef Erham, and Chef Eddrian Tjhia.
Taking place at Raffles Hotel Jakarta, J Trust Bank Gourmet Choice 2025 gave awards a number of selected restaurants. Ginza Sushi Ichi and Senshu each received the ‘Two Star’ award; Chef Oinuma earned the ‘One Star’ award; meanwhile, Sumi to Kome Restaurant & Bar, Rumah Dani, Plan B Spanish Resto, Koki Restaurant Nusa Dua, Kappo Don, and Bai Yun Hot Pot received the ‘Special Recognition’ award.
In addition to getting awards and appreciation prizes, all owners, employees and customers of the Gourmet Choice 2025 winning restaurants are entitled to enjoy a savings program with special interest, namely getting an additional 0.5% interest facility for opening J Trust Savings, TORA Savings, J Trust One Savings, J Trust Savings Plan, and J Trust Current Account with applicable terms and conditions.

On the same occasion, Chef Eddrian Tjhia, a culinary practitioner who is famous for a variety of local, fusion and healthy dishes, added, “This award provides encouragement for culinary development in Indonesia, especially in fusion. Japanese and Indonesian food have a very interesting fusion. I hope that in the future there can be more fusion innovations so that Japanese people will also get to know Indonesian cuisine.”
